All Ride Leaders will have the option of creating Ride Events with Pace Levels as described below.
Ride Leaders can either use the classification or the pace level in the ride event description. (Reference in the Ride Event the link to this page)
Since OCC has a wide variety of members, for 2026, OCC will establish No-Drop rides (default) and Drop Rides. The Ride Leader will have the option to set the pace of the ride event and whether the ride will be a “No-Drop” ride with regroups or a “Drop” ride. For example, if a member wants to do a ride around Mercer Island at a faster pace and is constrained by time, but wants to see if other members want to ride, they can create a “Drop” ride. This does not limit slower paced riders from attending, but they may need to return to the start on their own. This is solely at the discretion of the event Ride Leader!
